There is something in October sets the gypsy blood astir, We must rise and follow her; When from every hill of flame, She calls and calls each vagabond by name.

-William Bliss Carman

I want to be a gypsy more than anyone can understand.
I want to wear long skirts and jingle when I walk. I want to have a caravan covered in bells and lanterns and twinkly lights. I want a white horse and a crystal ball. I want my children to see the stars and run around muddy and bare-foot and know the names of all the wild flowers.
